The Steam launch hasn't even gotten off the ground yet, hours after the scheduled time. People are still sitting in front of their Steam clients, waiting for the game to be activated so that they can play. Despite the theoretical brilliance in the convenient pre-load-and-activate system, it seems Valve still has trouble practically implementing it without a hitch. And those GSC guys can never get a break.
